Over winter break, the construction team completed a majority of punch list items throughout the building. Sitework where construction trailers were located is being cleaned, having fences removed, and fresh sod laid down. New sidewalk has been poured and will be ready to use next week.
Elevator work is continuing for the two new elevators. February and March are the anticipated deadlines for the new elevators to be ready. In the main addition, workers are connecting underground utilities, while the new office areas are having electrical work and lighting finalized.
Here are some other recent updates taking place:
- Ceiling grids are installed in the new high school offices. Electricians are working on light fixtures and alarms.
- Roofing installation on the main lobby addition is progressing, with additional work being done on the inside, including drywall.
- Plumbing and duct work is also taking place in the new expansion.
