Prop B Update – 4/23/2021

Elevators

• Elevator 2 (May 2021)
  • Schindler installation is complete. Punch/completion items by K&S to take 1-2 weeks, then Schindler will return to make final electrical connection and inspections.
• Elevator 3 (July 2021)
  • Foundations are complete. Waterproofing walls this week, backfill and masonry to be next week.

Building B Update

• Lobby Expansion (May 2021)
  • Painting started this week and will continue into next week.
• Lower Level Meeting/Staff Rooms (April 2021)
  • Downspout work finishing up, which will be followed by floor leveling.
• Level 1 Office/Admin Rooms (May 2021)
  • Painting wrapped up this week.
  • Storefront glass installation next week.
  • LVT2 Material for Admin area was delayed now until late April, pushing this space into May.
• Multipurpose
  • Temporary library pack up week of May 17th with the goal to be moved out by 5/24 in order to start renovations of the temporary library space beginning on 5/27.

Building B Expansion Update

• Courtyard One opening to be completed with brick work next week and then power washing.
• Lower Level (June 2021)
  • French drain work is wrapping up. Electric and plumbing connections will be fitted next week. Afterward, K&S can complete finishes.
• Level 1 (June 2021)
  • Drywall taping and MEPFP taking place now.
• Level 2 (May 2021)
  • Painting to start next week.
• Pop-Up (May 2021)
  • Painting to start next week, followed by ceiling installation.

Site Update (June 2021)

• Retaining wall for the ramp at south side of circle drive had its footings poured this week.
• Excavating for south stairs outside of expansion entry is underway.
